What We Do

Students working with a conservation education tablet

Abundelo is a non-profit initiative working closely with African Parks to enhance environmental education & conservation awareness among youth living near protected areas. In collaboration with SafetyCulture, a leader in online education, we are developing an interactive learning platform designed to engage and inspire young minds. Community facilitators will deliver this curriculum using Samsung Galaxy tablets, with plans to distribute them across all of African Parks' protected spaces in the coming years. Our mission is to empower these youth to become the next generation of conservation leaders.

Where We Work

We're partnering with African Parks to introduce digital learning on environmental education across all 22 of their parks in 12 countries, starting in October 2024. This initiative enhances understanding of conservation among local communities, focusing on the importance of conserving protected areas. Starting in Odzala, we'll expand to other key parks across Africa.
